11 Belgrave Road stands as a landmark of sustainable redevelopment in the heart of Victoria, London. Originally a 1950s office block, it has been transformed by Eric Parry Architects into a 150,000 sq ft Grade A workspace that sets new benchmarks in environmental performance and design excellence. The building is the first in the UK to achieve a 5.5-star NABERS UK rating, alongside BREEAM Outstanding and WELL Platinum certifications, reflecting its commitment to energy efficiency and occupant wellbeing .

As advisors on the glazing and window systems, we contributed to the project's goal of reducing embodied carbon and enhancing thermal performance. Our input supported the retention and upgrade of 35% of the existing structure, including significant portions of the façade, helping the project exceed the RIBA 2030 Climate Challenge embodied carbon target by 38%

The building's design features extensive communal spaces, including a café, gym, and co-working areas, as well as 13,000 sq ft of landscaped green spaces that promote a connection to nature . This holistic approach to sustainability and design makes 11 Belgrave Road a model for future urban developments.
